What
Branding and a website for a small spray-tanning business, covering logo design, print and social assets, product information, and mobile-friendly booking enquiries.
Why
To establish the business's first online presence, on a minimal budget, with a consistent identity across print, social and web, while making products, service information and booking enquiries easy to access on mobile.
Who
Chloe's Spray Tans
A spray-tanning business I supported as a freelance client, delivering logo design, branding, print collateral, website development and hosting.
How
Branding
Created a logo around the client's preference towards a vintage direction, then shaped a colour palette that kept the brand modern, simple and clear for its audience.
Design
Once the key elements were confirmed, I began researching themes to use as a starting point to ensure the project could be completed as quickly as possible.
Brochures, business cards and stationery were also designed in a style to match the branding goals.
Development
Although based on an existing HTML template — to help with time and budget constraints — the site was migrated to a dynamic site and customised from there to meet requirements, such as online booking, social integration, and ensuring mobile support.
Hosting
Speed, particularly on mobile, was a key area of concern. The final site kept load times solid on mobile, even with multiple high-resolution images.
