Achievements

Replacing a high traffic site's managed hosting with a self-hosted solution to reduce cost, while improving performance, security and reliability. Resulting in 90% reduction in downtime and 75% faster response time.
Utilising serverless functions to replace existing third-party services – lowering recurring expenses and providing near instant page loads, through edge computing and caching.
Creating star rating functionality from scratch that was accessible, standards-compliant, and functioned fully without requiring any JS.
Successfully running and completing numerous freelance projects independently, start to finish – from requirements gathering, through to post launch work.
Developed an easy to use web interface for managing employee and guest network access, integrating with numerous Unix network management tools - using PHP and SQLite.
Designed Govspace logo and branding + created site IA, imagery and site design.
As technical lead for Govspace, worked with third-party maintainers to patch numerous security issues affecting the platform, including two publicly credited XSS fixes.
Designed branding, UI, IA and UX for Govdex beta + working as part of a small team to then implement and iterate further, based on user feedback.
